Shipping policy

We ship orders using a combination of USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS services. This is dependent on the weight of your package.

• Shopify's shipping rates are sometimes higher than the rates we have access to through Pirate Ship. This is especially true for heavy items like bath salts or fragrance mists! Any overages greater than $1 will be refunded when we generate your shipping label. 😊
• Flat rate packages will be sent via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground at our discretion. If you would like to guarantee the use of one service or another, please select the appropriate carrier rate at checkout.

What if my order is stolen from my porch/mailbox?

Once a package has been marked as delivered, unfortunately we cannot refund or resend it. If you think your package was stolen, please contact your local USPS (or UPS) office. They will be able to give you the exact GPS coordinates of where your package was marked as delivered, and this can help determine if it was delivered to the correct address or not. What if my order is lost in transit?

We cannot send refunds or replacements for items lost in transit, as the mail carrier is liable for a package's delivery once we turn it over. Please upgrade your shipping from Ground Advantage to Priority Mail if you would like the faster transit and insurance.

International Shipping Notes

We will not mark international orders as gifts for customs purposes and will declare the full value of your order on the customs form. We know that customs fees can be quite pricey sometimes - please research the fees for your country/region ahead of time so you're not unpleasantly surprised when your order crosses the border! As the buyer you will be responsible for full payment of them.

Package Refusal

If your order is refused (whether domestically, or internationally due to nonpayment of customs fees), Fable & Canon reserves the right to retain the original shipping costs as well as a 20% restocking fee, due to the time, labor, and materials that initially went into packing your order.
